A three-member Indian team, featuring Odisha ace Aahan, reached quarterfinals before losing to host Kazakhstan in the Asia-Oceania Junior Billie Jean King Cup U-16 Girls Tennis Tournament, which was being held at Beeline Arena in Shymkent, Kazakhstan from 12 to 17 May 2025.
The Indian team qualified for the quarterfinals by finishing second in Group-A league, winning two matches and losing one. India beat Uzbekistan 2-1 and Iran 3-0, but lost to Australia 0-3. In the quarterfinals, Kazakhstan beat India 2-0. The semifinalists will qualify for the World Group stage to be held in Chile.
Parthasarathi Arun Mundhe and Anandita Upadhyay were other two players of the Indian team, which was accompanied by Amrita Mukherjee as coach. Aahan played five matches, including one doubles. She won one singles and one doubles.

May 12 (Group-A League): India beat Uzbekistan 2-1 (Anandita Upadhyay bt Djeparova Veronika 6-1, 6-0; Aahan lost to Keira Kim 3-6, 6-3, 1-6; Aahan & Parthsarthi Mundhe bt Emily Kim & Keira Kim 6-3, 3-6, (10-8).
May 13 (Group-A League): India beat Iran 3-0 (Anandita Upadhyay bt Saba Kheyrmanesh 6-3, 6-2; Aahan bt Melina Abbaszadeh 6-0, 6-0; Parthsarthi Mundhe & Anandita bt Melina Abbaszadeh & Saba Kheyrmanesh 6-1, 6-0).
May 14 (Group-A League): Australia beat India 3-0 (Koharu Nishikawa bt Parthsarthi Mundhe 6-4, 6-2; Renee Alame bt Aahan 6-0, 6-2; Koharu Nishikawa & Jizelle Sibai bt Parthsarthi Mundhe & Anandita Upadhyay 7-6(2), 6-4.
May 15 (Quarterfinals): Kazakhstan beat India 2-0 (Erkezhan Zhanataeva bt Parthsarthi Mundhe 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-3; Eva Korysheva bt Aahan 6-1, 6-1).
