  Lanka Tour of Odisha Cricket Team: Fourth match drawn

Decisive results continued to elude Odisha Cricket Team on their Sri Lanka tour as the fourth three-day match against Sri Lanka Emerging Team also ended in a draw on the final day at P Saravanamuttu International Cricket Stadium in Colombo today.

Opting to bat after captain Swastik Samal won the toss, Odisha Exposure Team compiled a first-inning total of 276. Former Odisha captain Subhranshu Senapati and Om T Munde scored a half-century each.

In reply, Sri Lanka Emerging Team rode on a century by Sohan De Leveria and half-century each by Nipun Dhananjay and Anjana Bandara to amass a strong total of 387. Among successful Odisha bowlers, Tarani Sa and Badal Biswal picked up three wickets each.

 

After conceding a first-innings lead of 111 runs, Odisha Exposure Team were 106 for five in their second innings when the match ended in a draw.

BRIEF SCORES: Odisha Exposure Team: 276/10 in 89 overs (Subhranshu Senapati 84, Om T Munde 54, Swastik Samal 44, Saideep Mohapatra 37; Dilum Sudera 4/66, Ravindu Fernando 3/66) and 106/5 in 37 overs (Dinesh Kumar Majhi 30*, Shreyansh Bhardwaj 30, Saideep Mohapatra 29; ; Dilum Sudera 3/39) drew with Sri Lanka Emerging Team: 387/10 in 105.2 overs (Sohan De Leveria 140, Nipun Dhananjay 54, Anjana Bandara 50, Dhananjay Lakshan 44, Ravindu Fernando 35; Tarani Sa 3/61, Badal Biswal 3/116, Sayed Tufel Ahmad 2/57).
