The touring Odisha mens cricket team drew their third three-day match against Sri Lanka Emerging Team at Bloomfield Cricket & Athletic Club in Colombo today. This was the third successive time that the two teams settled for a draw.
However, the home team took the first-innings by restricting the Odisha team to 225 for nine after compiling a healthy first-innings total of 384.
Three bowlers and two batters put up notable performances for Odisha. Rajesh Mohanty was the most successful Odisha bowler, bagging four wickets for 69 runs. Tarani Sa and Ansuman Bej took two wickets apiece.
Among successful Odisha batters, Saideep Mohapatra (57) and Aashirwad Swain (53) scored a half-century each. Odisha captain Subhranshi Senapati failed to open his account
