“As many as 10 girls of the Odisha team played the National championship for the first time. They were a bit nervous in the final and could not play according to our plan. We created five penalty corner opportunities, but could not convert any,” observed the coach.
Odisha team manager Sujit Lakra expressed happiness on the over performance of the team. “Barring the final, our girls played very well. We won a bronze medal in the previous edition and silver this time. Looking forward to bagging the gold in the next edition,” he said.
