Odisha bagged a total of nine medals 36 medals in the 4th KIO National Cadet, Junior & Sub-junior Karate Championship, which was hosted by Uttarakhand Karate Association, under the auspices of Karate India Organisation, at the Multi Purpose Hall in Dehradun, Uttarakhand from 12 to 15 June 2025.
The 36 medals featured eight gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze. Odisha claimed seventh position in the overall medal tally, while Tamil Nadu finished at the top with a total of 37 medals (11 gold, 11 silver, 15 bronze). Madhya Pradesh (11 gold, 5 silver, 7 bronze, total 23) and Maharashtra (11 gold, 3 silver, 17 bronze, total 31) secured second and third positions respectively.
