Odisha para-badminton player Gedala Dillaswar Rao won the bronze medal in mens doubles SL3–SL4 category at the Thailand Para-Badminton International, which was held at the SPADT Convention Centre in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 10 to 15 June 2025.
Rao won the bronze medal with Tamil Nadu partner Dinesh Rajaiah by reaching semifinals, where they lost to Indian pair of Jagadesh Dilli & Naveen Sivakumar 3-21, 12-21. Earlier in the quarterfinals they defeated Nepal duo Prakash Adhikari & Cheyang Kuenchap (Nepal) 21-8, 21-12.
Rao and Rajaiah qualified for the quarterfinals by finishing second in Group-B league with one win and one loss. They beat Brazil-Switzerland combination of Andre Luiz Vieira De Silva S and Maurin Stubi 21-17, 22-20, but lost to Korean pair of Cho Nadan & Lee Seunghu (Korea) 10-21, 10-21.
