Rising Students Club, Cuttack emerged champions in the 7th Aurobinda Memorial Paramount Cup All-Odisha Cricket Tournament, defeating local team Mukteswar Cricket Club by eight wickets 149 runs in the high-scoring final at Paramount Ground in Bhubaneswar today. The champion team received a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while the runners-up side took home Rs 30,000.
Bhubaneswar Ekamra MLA Babu Singh attended the closing ceremony as chief guest and handed over the trophy. Odisha Cricket Association president Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, former Brahmagiri MLA Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra, Bhubaneswar Athletic Association secretary Sourya Ranjan Parija, eminent cricket coach Kishore Mania, Paramount Sporting Club president Pratap Jena, convenor Pradyumna Jena and secretary Ashok Patra were present on the occasion.

Former Odisha Ranji team captain Pravanjan Mullick was felicitated at the closing ceremony. Aashirwad Swain (Best batter), Harshit Rathod (Best bowler), Pratik Das (Best fielder) and Amin Iqbal Khan (Player of the Tournament) bagged the individual awards for outstanding performances.
