  U-19 Men Inter-Dist Cricket: Artik scalps 7, Amrita slams 165

Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Balangir, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara and Cuttack-B posted wins in respective Group E and F preliminary league matches of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at different grounds in Cuttack today.

Artik Sahu bagged seven wickets for 13 runs as he propelled Sundargarh to a 267-run win against Gajapati, while Malkangiri rode on a sparking knock of 165 by Amrita Mandal to demolish Jagatsinghpur by 203 runs.

Among other outstanding performers, Lokanath Prusty (Mayurbhanj), Sayed Irfan (Cuttack-B) and Jami Tanay (Malkangiri) claimed four or more wickets each, while Aditya Anand, Tohid Ansari (both Sundargarh), Dikshant Mallick (Cuttack-B) and Suryakanta Malik (Jagatsinghpur) scored a half-century each.

Match 61 (Ravenshaw Ground-1): Balangir 139/10 in 37.0 overs (Sakshyam Agrawal 29, Bhavya S Padharia 24; Rati Ranjan Barik 3/30, Subhransu Das 2/24) beat Sambalpur 72/10 in 16.1 overs (Jogeswar Bag 3/16, Mausam Raj Nag 3/18) by 67 runs. PoM: Jogeswar Bag.

Match 62 (Ravenshaw Ground-2): Sundargarh 341/7 in 47 overs (Aditya Anand 60, Tohid Ansari 56*; J Abhinash 2/37, G Sanmukha Rao 2/55) beat Gajapati 72/10 in 20.4 overs (Gatta Manikanta 22; Artik Sahu 7/13, Neil Nitin Mohanty 2/24) by 269 runs. PoM: Artik Sahu.

Match 63 (Adaspur Ground): Kalahandi 34/10 in 12.4 overs (Lokanath Prusty 5/5, Priyank Pattnaik 3/6) lost to Mayurbhanj 35/0 in 4.2 overs (Gambhir K Mohanta 21*) by 10 wickets. PoM: Lokanath Prusty.

Match 64 (DRIEMS Ground): Angul 67/10 in 28.3 overs (Krishna Mohanty 3/13, Isan Kiran Patra 2/8) lost to Kendrapara 68/3 in 18.4 overs (Priyansu Patra 32, Aman Dash 25*; Harsh Kumar 2/14) by 7 wickets. PoM: Krishna Mohanty.

Match 65 (Sunshine Ground): Cuttack-B 207/10 in 30.2 overs (Dikshant Mallick 57, Abhisek Senapati 34; Rohit K Gupta 3/31, Partha S Lenka 3/32) beat Koraput 103/10 in 31 overs (Chintu Karingi 25; Sayed Irfan 4/24, Abhisek Senapati 3/18) by 104 runs. PoM: Abhisek Senapati.
