Odisha international Deep Ranjan Bisoyee and his Indian partner Manoj Sarkar won the bronze medal in the mens doubles SL3-SL4 category of the Spanish Para-Badminton International Level-2 Tournament, which was held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain from 4 to 9 March 2025.
Bisoyee and Sarkar secured the bronze medal by reaching semifinals, where they lost to Indian opponents Jagadesh Dilli and Naveen Sivakumar 23-21, 15-21, 16-21. Indian duo of Kumar Nitesh and Tarun won the gold medal, defeating Dilli and Sivakumar in the final 21-14, 23-25, 22-20.
Earlier in the quarterfinals, Bosoyee and Sarkar beat the Switzerland combination of Dominik Butzberger and Maurin Stubi 21-10-, 21-8. They qualified for the quarterfinals winning both of their qualifying matches in Group A. Bosoyee and Sarkar beat France opponents Teddy Ferrazza and Thomas Numitor 21-8, 21-5 and English duo Cumow Pirbhai-Clarke and William Smith 21-17, 21-13.
