Rising Odisha star Aahan won her maiden ITF Juniors U18 J30 singles title at Madurai at Madurai College in Madurai, Tamil Nadu from March 3 to 8 2025. She achieved the feat beating Sree Syleswari Velmanikandan (India) 6-1, 6-1 in the final of the J30 Madurai TVS ITF Junior U18 Tennis Championship 2024 today.
Earlier in the semifinal, fifth seed Aahan carved out an easy 6-0, 6-0 win over Aahida Singh (India). Overall Aahan won five matches to clinch the coveted crown. On her way to the semifinals, she defeated Deepshika Vinayagamurthy (India) 6-2, 6-1 in the first round, Sanmitha Harini Lokesh (India) 6-1, 6-1 in pre-quarterfinals and second seed Disha Behera (India) 6-1, 6-2 in quarterfinals.
This was the fifth overall international title for Aahan, who earlier secured two titles in U-16 age group and one each in U-14 and U-12 categories. She was also part of the Indian girls team that won the bronze medal at the ITF Asia Girls Team Competition in 2022.
