  SL Tour of Odisha Cricket Team: Biswal scalps 11, Swain hits 99

Odisha Exposure Team held Sri Lanka Emerging Team to a draw in their second three-day match, which was held at Bloomfield Cricket & Athletic Club, Colombo from 29 April to 1 May 2025. Left-arm spinner Badal Biswal was the most successful performer for the touring Odisha team with a match haul of 11 wickets for 144 runs, including eight for 124 in the first innings.

Odisha made 199 and 215 in their two innings, while the home team compiled 307 and 60 for four. Among Odisha batters, captain and stumper Aashirwad Swain slammed 99 in the second innings, while openers Swastik Samal and Ayush Sutar scored a half-century each in the first innings.

 

For the Sri Lanka Emerging Team, Muditha Lakshan bagged 11 wickets in the match, conceding 154 runs. Sohan De Leveria was the only batter to hit a half-century for the home team. Earlier, the first three-day match between the two sides also ended in a draw.
