Odisha junior international Pragati Parida won the mixed doubles silver medal in the Yonex-Sunrise All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament, which was organised by Haryana Badminton Association, under the aegis of Badminton Association (BAI) of India at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Panchkula from 25 April to 2 May 2025.

Pragati and her partner C Lalramsanga (Mizoram), seeded second, finished as mixed doubles runners-up after losing to seventh seeds Bornil Akash Changmai and Zenith Abbigail in the final 21-17, 21-23, 19-21 today. Pragati and Lalramsanga reached the final after winning four matches in a row.

Jajpur girl Pragati has been honing her skills at the BAI National Centre of Excellence in Guwahati since 2022. She earlier trained at Odisha-SAI Regional Badminton Academy in Bhubaneswar.
