Odisha secured two medals on the second day of the 28th National Federation Senior Athletics Competition as Pragyan Prasanti Sahu and Swadhin Kumar Majhi won one silver medal each at the Maharajas College Stadium in Kochi, Kerala today. Odisha has gathered a total of three silver medals so far with Animesh Kujur claming the first one in mens 100m sprint earlier on the opening day.
Pragyan Prasanti Sahu bagged silver in the womens 100m hurdles with a timing of 13.40 seconds. Andhra Pradesh star Jyothi Yarraji clocked a time of 13.23 seconds to win the gold, while Nithya Ramraj (Tamil Nadu) bagged the bronze, clocking 13.42 seconds.
