Odisha player T Jagannath Das, who represented Railways, was awarded as the Player of the Tournament in men category. The Best Defender and Best Attacker awards were claimed by Laxman Gawas (Maharashtra) and Rahul Mandal (Railways) respectively.
Tanvi Bhosle (Maharashtra) received Player of the Tournament award in women category, while Reshma Rathore (Maharashtra) and Archana Majhi (Odisha) pocketed the Best Attacker and Best Defender awards respectively.
The five-day National championship was organised by Odisha Kho Kho Association, under the aegis of Kho Kho Federation of India, and with the support of the Department of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Odisha.
As many as 40 men and 40 women teams participated in the championship, which was conducted in a new seven-a-side format. All the 190 matches (160 league and 30 knock-out) were played on mat. Decision Review System (DRS) was used for knock-out games.

WOMEN: League matches: Odisha beat Madhya Bharat 42-10, beat Bihar 57-6, beat Vidarbha 32-8. Pre-quarterfinals: Odisha beat Haryana 27-3. Quarterfinals: Odisha beat Andhra Pradesh 35-12. Semifinals: Odisha beat Airport Authority of India 25-16. Final: Odisha lost to Maharashtra 21-25.
