Para table tennis players Gautam Singh and Uday Kumar Rout won one bronze medal each for Odisha by reaching semifinals in mens Class-2 and Class-6 categories respectively on the last day of the 2nd Khelo India Para Games 2025 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi today.
In the semi-finals, Gautam lost to Avinash Gopinath from Tamil Nadu 6-11, 4-11, 1-11, while Uday went down to Vikash Thakur from Gujarat 11-4, 5-11, 6-11, 12-14. Odisha secured 16th position in the Games with a total of 12 medals, which featured two gold and two silver and eight bronze.

A 24-member Odisha contingent bagged seven medals, including both the gold in para athletics, two each in para powerlifting and para table tennis and one para archery. The State could not win any medal in para badminton and para shooting.
Haryana emerged champions with 34 gold, 39 silver, 31 bronze for a total of 104 medals, while Tamil Nadu finished runners-up with 74 medals (28 gold, 19 silver, 27 bronze). Uttar Pradesh claimed the third place with 64 medals (23 gold, 21 silver, 20 bronze). The second edition of the Khelo India Para Games produced a total of 18 National records, including 12 by women.
