Odisha Body Building Association (OBBA) general secretary Prasanna Kumar Mahasuar assumed another responsibility as he was also elected as the general secretary of the Eastern India Body Builders Association (EIBBA) for a four-term. All 14 office-bearers of EIBBA were elected unanimously during the Annual General meeting of the Association, held at Hotel Gouri Cottage in Bhubaneswar on 8 September 2024.

Representatives from Odisha, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Manipur, Meghalaya and Mizoram attended the AGM. As many as four people from Odisha secured posts in the executive committee.

Besides the officer-bearers, five people were nominated as patron and advisers. They include: patron Bikash Chandra Pattnaik (Odisha), chief adviser Lohit Ranjan Das (Meghalaya) and advisers Sumitra Tripathy (Odisha), Nirmal Saha (West Bengal), Irom Umakanta Singh (Manipur).
