Magnificent haul of seven wickets for 36 runs by Biranchi N Swain propelled Kendrapara to a five-wicket win over Sambalpur-A in their super league match of the OCA U-19 Mens Inter-District Cricket Tournament at DRIEMS Ground in Tangi, Cuttack today.

Mohanraj Rout also played an important role in the Kendrapara win, hitting an unbeaten 66, while a half-century by Sambalpur batter Krish Singh went in vain. Three other super league matches of the day were abandoned due to heavy rain and wet outfield. The abandoned matches will be played on a later date.
