  Indoor Natl Rowing: Orissa bag 7 gold, 2 silver medals

Odisha bagged a total of nine medals at the 4th Indoor National Rowing Championship, which was held at Pataliputra Sports Complex in Patna, Bihar on 7 and 8 September, 2019. The nine medals included seven gold and two silver.

Pramila Prava Minz, Sanjukta Dung Dung and Deepika Xess were most successful, capturing two gold medals each. Among other home-grown Odisha rowers, Sonali Swain pocketed one gold and one silver, while Manjula Xess and Reshma Kumari Minz secured one gold each.

The two-day championship was organised by Rowing Association of Bihar, under the auspices of Rowing Federation of India.

Sub-junior Girls Individual (1000m): Harnoor Sidhu, Gold, 3:52.00.
Junior Boys Individual (2000m): Shagandeep Singh, Gold, 6:23.50.
Junior Girls Pair (2000m): Reshma Kumari Minz, Deepika Xess, Gold, 8:04.50.
Junior Girls Pair (2000m): Sonali Swain, Kushpreet Kaur (Odisha-B), Silver, 8:08.50.
Junior Boys Pair (2000m): Karanbir Singh Bhinder, Predhuman Singh, Silver, 6:47.50.
Open Women Individual (2000m): Sanjukta Dung Dung, Gold, 7:42.70.
Open Women Pair (2000m): Manjula Xess, Pramila Prava Minz, Gold, 7:57.70.
Junior Mix Four (500m):  Predhuman Singh, Arvinder Singh, Sonali Swain, Deepika Xess, Gold, 1:38.50.
Open Mix Four (500m): Shagandeep Singh, Karanbir Singh Bhinder, Sanjukta Dung Dung, Pramila Prava Minz, Gold, 1:34.40.
