The new uniform will make its in-game debut in the first match of this season that will be played between Kalinga Lancers and Delhi Waveriders here at Kalinga Stadium Hockey Complex here on January 22. The Kalinga Lancers team comprises of 20 players, among whom 12 are Indians while the rest eight are foreigners.

Former Australian Mark Hager is the head coach while former Indian captain Dilip Tirkey is the chief mentor and advisor of the team. Former Indian goalkeeper Dr A B Subbaiah will accompany the team as team manager. Kalinga Lancers will play their five home matches here at Kalinga Stadium from January 22 to February 5.
