Even if late, Orissa Cricket Association finally made an official announcement about the composition of its new selection committes, effecting several changes in the process of appointing support staff and selectors for the year 2010-11. According to reports, Manas Ray would be the new coach of the state Ranji team, replacing Abakash Khatua, who would function as a member of the senior selection committee.

Bishnudev Mohanty, Suresh Kumar, Subrat Behera and Rituparna Roy have been named as coaches of the state under-22, under-19, under-16 and women’s teams respectively. The three selection committees include nine to 11 members each.
