Orissa boy Debashis Das helped India beat Azerbaijan 2.5-1.5 in the seventh round of the World Youth Chess Olympiad at Turkey today. Among other three India players, Aditya Udeshi posted win, K Priyadarshan suffered defeat and Girish Koushik settled for a draw. With this victory, second seed India shared the lead with top seed Russia at 20 points each from 28 games. Russia, on the other hand blanked Uzbekistan 4-0. In the eighth round, India face Hungary and Russia take on Turkey.
