East Coast Railway`s S Appa Rao and Cuttack boy Pramod Rana bagged a double each in the State Badminton championship at Nalco Indoor Hall in Angul today. Rao emerged champion in men’s singles and doubles without much effort as his opponent Chitta Ranjan Satpathy conceded both the finals in the first game due to knee injury. Rana won the two titles in boys’ singles and doubles categories. Gayatree Mishra claimed the women’s singles title for the third time in a row and fifth overall, while the girls’ singles crown went to Monalisa Mohanty.
