Uday Majhi, Pradeep Bariha, Baijayanti Lakra and Joshi Tiu emerged overall champions in different categories of the 13th State Archery Championship, which was conducted by Orissa Archery Association at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on August 8 and 9. Competition was held in 30 and 40 metres Indian round. KIIT University Chancellor Dr Achyuta Samanta gave away the prizes at the closing ceremony. Final standings: Junior boys: 1. Udaya Majhi (586 points), 2. Subrat Kumar Ray (543), 3. Harischandra Sabar (538). Junior girls: 1. Baijayanti Lakra (510), 2. Pratima Jung (501), 3. Manjula Apat (438). Senior boys: 1. Pradeep Bariha (610), 2. Sumit Kerketta (600), 3. Ganeswar Munda (596). Senior girls: 1. Joshi Tiu (464).
