Dear Sir,
Your photo feature on the Kalinga Stadium proves the adage that a picture speaks louder than a thousand words. The photograph of spectators' seats littered with pigeon shit says more about the state of Orissa sports in general and Kalinga Stadium in particular than any write up could have done.
For those going gaga over the renaming of the state as Odisha (in place of the eralier Orissa), the desecration of the Oriya (oops Odia) language as shown in the other pictures is a timely reminder that love for one's language, like charity, begins at home.
Kudos for the effort.

TOO GOOD !
I have already seen your portal. Too good. I generally see the headlines in sports and that too only cricket segment. But the look of orisports.com is excellent. I do not know in what way I can help promote your work. Will you please specify how I can support for the growth of this portal?

Bench strength lacking
Pawan Agarwal (Former Orissa Ranji cricketer)
Bhubaneswar, May 28, 2009:
It is very unfortunate that we have not been able to muster necessary bench strength to replace speedster Debasis Mohanty and opening bat Shiv Sundar Das in case of emergency.
We need to strengthen the player-pool at the junior level immediately with sensible and systematic training. |

Coaching needed in Bhubaneswar
My son AMRIT KESHRI NANDAN, currently studying in class VI, is taking coaching in cricket at Kolkata. We are interested to attach him to some clubs in Bhubaneswar to play for Orissa. Incidentally we are from Orissa and due to nature of my All India job I am posted at Kolkata. Please advise.

Wonderful
Went through orisports.com and it was a wonderful experience.
This will keep the readers, media and people related to sports aware of what's happening in Orissa sports.
It's very well-planned and nicely-executed. Though the main challenge will be to sustain it.
So, all the best for that!
