*     OBA has worked out a tentative budget of Rs 57.30 lakhs for the hosting of championship.
*     Major expenses include fooding for 50 teams Rs 20 lakhs, portable pole and board Rs 10 lakhs, electronic score boards Rs 8 lakhs and accommodation Rs 5 lakhs. said on Monday.
*     Odisha is hosting a National basketball championship after a gap of nine years.
*     Incidentally, the J N Indoor Stadium was the venue when Odisha played host to the 54th Senior National Basketball Championship from December 26, 2003 to January 2, 2004.
*     The 23rd Federation Cup was another major event, which OBA staged at Rourkela from October 28 to November 2, 2007.
*     As many as 46 teams, 23 each in girls and boys categories would vie for the title in the 64th edition.
*     Chhattisgarh boys and girls, who bagged a double in the previous National championship at Puducherry, would be looking to defend their titles this year.
*     Matches will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and Barabati Stadium. The format of the championship will be league cum knockout of Level 1 and 2.
