*    Around 20 aggrieved members of Bhubaneswar Athletic Association (BAA) have called an emergency meeting to dicide an action-plan on the issue of non-conduct of elections of the capital city’s apex sports body.
*    Aggrieved members include vice-presidents Manoranjan Mohanty, Asit Ballabh Ray, treasurer Raghunath Panda, former city Mayor Mihir Kumar Mohanty, life members Suvrendu Patnaik, Gopal Charan Mohanty, eminent lawar Madhu Madhab Jena, volleyball coach Amiya Kumar Mishra.
*    Members allege that the elections, scheduled to be held on May 2, 2010, is being delayed deliberately.
*    BAA president Suresh Kumar Routray had announced the date of poll at the general body meeting held earlier on March 21.
*    The president had also appointed Dr S K Ray as the election officer.
