DESCRIPTION:
*   Mens Asian Champions Trophy was first held in 2011 (Ordos, China).
*   Six nations, namely China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan and South Korea, will participate in the main tournament.
*   In the event of withdrawals by any of the six teams, they will be replaced by reserve teams, Bangladesh and Oman.
*   Matches will be played at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar and Olympian Balbir Singh (Senior) International Hockey Stadium in Mohali.
*   India has been the most successful nation, winning five gold (2011, 2016, 2018, 2023, 2024), one silver (2012) and one bronze (2021) medal so far.
*   Pakistan has won the title thrice (2012, 2013, 2018) and South Korea once (2021).
*   India and Pakistan were declared joint winners at the 2018 edition as the final match was abandoned due to heavy rain.
