DESCRIPTION:
*     Odisha sprinter Srabani Nanda has been selected in the Indian womens 4x100m team for this event.
*     India currently has three teams in the qualification zone: mens 4x400m, womens 4x100m and mixed 4x400m.
*     Chhattisgarh-born Odisha sprinter Animesh Kujur has also been selected for both the Indian mens 4x100m and mixed 4x400m events.
*     Indian team: Nithya Gandhe (11.59s), Sneha SS (11.63s), Tamanna (11.64s), Srabani Nanda (11.77s) and Sudeshna Shivankar (11.78s).
