DESCRIPTION:
*     Hangzhou will be the third Chinese city to host the Asian Games, after Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010.
*     Originally scheduled to take place from 10 to 25 September 2022, the event was rescheduled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
*     Surging Tides is the emblem of the Games.
*     Congcong, Lianlian and Chenchen, the three mascots of the Games, are depicted as robotic superheroes.
*     The 2023 Asiad would feature competition in 40 sports disciplines.
*     Indian cricket team is set to make its debut in the Asian Games.
*     Since the dates of the Asian Games clashes with ICC World Cup, the BCCI will field its second-string squad in the upcoming Asiad.
*     Indian women cricket team would also participated in the Hangzhou Games.
*     Twelve sportspersons from Odisha have so far been selected to represent India in this biggest sporting event of Asia.
