DESCRIPTION:
*     Rangsit University, Bangkok is the venue of the championship.
*     Odisha woman Anupama Swain has been selected to represent India in this championship.
*     She qualified for the Asian championship by securing first position in both GI and No GI categories of the National selection trial, held at Pro Fighting Club in New Delhi.
*     Asian championship will be the selection competition for the forthcoming Asian Games.
*     Anupama has the reputation of winning medal in the Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship.
