DESCRIPTION:
*     First played in preparation for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, Hockey5s is a super-fast, highly skilful, short format of hockey which is designed to be adaptable to multiple surfaces, environments and space.
*     Hockey5s is an invasion game played between two teams with four field players and a goalkeeper.
*     On 18 May, Hockey India named a nine-member Indian Men Team for the inaugural edition of the FIH Hockey 5s.
*     The Indian team will play Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland and hosts Switzerland.
*     The Indian team will be captained by Gurinder Singh and Sumit will shoulder the responsibility as the Vice-Captain.
*     Odisha forward Sudeep Chirmako has been named as of three standbys of the Indian team, which will be accompanied by Chief Coach Graham Reid.
