DESCRIPTION:
*     Rowing Federation of India has announced a 24-member contingent for this championship.
*     The contintent includes 16 rowers, including one from Odisha, six coaches and support staff and two managers.
*     The lone Odisha rower in the Indian squad is Reshma Minz.
*     The National camps for the Thailand-bound men and women teams were held at Army Rowing Node Pune and SAI Jagatpur respectively.
*     Ismail Baig, National Coach & Dronacharya Awardee supervised the camp at the ARN Pune.
*     The women camp was conducted under the supervision of Inderpal Singh, Olympian & Arjuna Awardee at Jagatpur, Odisha.
*     At the 2019 Asian Rowing Championships, Chungju, Korea, India finished with 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
