DESCRIPTION:
*      After being an state-level tournament for the first seven editions from 2005, MIET Open assumes East Zone status from this year with participation of cueists from neighbouring states.
*      The tournament carries a total prize fund of around Rs 1.10 lakh, including Rs 30,000 for the champion and Rs 16,000 for the runner-up.
*      No fee is required to participate in the tournament.
