ORGANISED BY: KIIT Underversity, under the aegis of All Odisha Chess Association (AOCA).

DESCRIPTION:
*     The festival features three categories of competitions _ Category-A (Rating 2000 and above), Category-B (Rating 1999 and below) and Category-C (Rating 1600 and below).
*     Category A and B, having 10 rounds of competition, would take place from May 26 to June 2, while Category-C with nine rounds, would take place from May 30 to June 2.
*     The festival carries a total prize fund of Rs 20 lakhs.

CATEGORY PRIZES (Total and Top 3):
Category-A (Total Rs 11 lakh): First prize: Rs 2 lakh, Second prize: Rs 1 lakh, Third prize: Rs 80,000.
Category-B (Total Rs 4.5 lakh): First prize: Rs 50,000, Second prize: Rs 40,000, Third prize: Rs 30,000.
Category-C (Total Rs 4.5 lakh): First prize: Rs 50,000, Second prize: Rs 40,000, Third prize: Rs 30,000.

ENTRY FEE:
*     Free for GMs, WGMs, IMs
*     Rating above 2300 as on 1/5/2017: Rs 8,500
*     Rating below 2300 as on 1/5/2017: Rs 10,500
*     For AOCA Registered Players: Rs 6,500
*     Organising Committee reserves the right to accept entries below the rating barrier with entry fee of Rs
15,000.

LODGING & BOARDING:
Category-A: All IMs and WGMs would be provided accommodation at KiiT International School Hostel on twin sharing basis. Other participants will be accommodated at KiiT International School Hostel on triple sharing basis. Free food and accommodation for all participants.
Category B & C: All outstation players would be provided accommodation at KiiT International School Hostel on triple/dormitory sharing basis for 4 days. Food will be provided from May 26.
