DESCRIPTION:
*     Late K D Pillai had the distinction of winning Odisha state chess title 11 times and National title once at Sangli in 1961.
*     The 11-round tournament carries a total prize fund of Rs 1 lakh, which include Rs 21,000 for the champion and Rs 12,000 for the runner-up.
*     Entrée fee is Rs 1,000 per player.
