*     He was the captain of the Odisha team that won the title in the East Zone Volleyball Championship in 2002.

NATIONAL:
*     Led Bihar volleyball team in the National Games at Imphal in 1997.
*     Represented Bihar in different national volleyball championships for seven years.
*     Represented Odisha in the Junior National Volleyball Championship at Jammu & Kashmir.
*     Led Odisha and Bihar in Senior National Volleyball Championships.


INTERNATIONAL:
*     Represented India in the 5th Junior Asian Volleyball Championship at Bangkok, Thailand in 1990.
*     Represented India in the Alwin International Volleyball Tournament at Hyderabad in 1990.


MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AS COACH:
*     Became a FIVB Level-II Coach by clearing the related course and examination with 95 per cent maks at Dr Sivanthi Adityan Regional Development Center for Volleyball in Chennai on 20 October 2022.
*     He was part of the coaching team of Odisha Men & Women Teams which won the Bronze medal in the 34th Federation Cup Volleyball Championship, held at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar in 2022.
*     He was the chief coach of the Odisha team for the East Zone Volleyball Championsip in 2011.
*     Under his guidance, East Coast Railway won the title in the All-India Inter-Railway Volleyball Championship at Bhubaneswar 2006 and finished runners-up thrice.


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Known as the first volleyball international of Odisha, he led both Odisha and Bihar in Senior National Championships.
*     Inspired by his elder brother Gaganendu Dash, Lotak played played cricket, basketball and hockey in his childhood days before taking to volleyball.
