Media Team emerged champions in the 16th Tata Steel Invitational Football Tournament, defeating Administrators Team 3-1 in the final, via penalty shootout after play in the regulation time ended in 1-1 draw at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar today.
Odisha Chief Minister graced tournament as chief guest and handed over the trophy. Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Panchayatiraj Minister Rabi Narayan Nayak, Health & Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Insustry Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, Tata Steel vice-president DB Sundar Raman and a number of MLAs were present on the occasion.
