Binati Behera, Manisha Merel, Srabani Nanda and Mousumi Roy were other three runners f the Odisha relay quartet that finished second, clocking 45.57 seconds.

Sarun Payasingh was the only male athlete to win a medal for Odisha. He captured the silver in mens long jump with an effort of 7.79 metres. Odisha sprinter Lalu Prasad Bhoi bagged one silver medal each in 100m run (10.43s) and 4x100m relay. But both the medals went to his employers Indian Railways.
