  U-19 Inter-District Cricket: Cuttack-A too good for Jagatsinghpur

Cuttack-A rode on a double hundred by Vedant V Devhade and a century by Abdul Latif to crush Jagatsinghpur by 199 runs in their preliminary league match of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at Sunshine Ground, Cuttack today.

Bhubaneswar-A, Koraput, Angul, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Malkangiri, Balasore and Puri posted wins in eight other matches of the day. Among other outstanding performers, Bhuban M Mandal (Malkangiri) scored a century, while Anirudh Patnaik (Ganjam), Om Sakunia (Jharsuguda) and Kishan Banchhor (Nuapada) bagged five or more wickets each.

Match 73 (Ravenshaw Ground, Cuttack): Dhenkanal 106/10 in 28.2 overs (Abhinab Ronak Pany 32; Sk Naqib Sarber 3/14) lost to Bhubaneswar-A 108/3 in 7.3 overs (Krishna Sasmal 54; Dikhyant Tripathy 2/15) by 7 wickets. PoM: Sk Naqib Sarber.

Match 74 (Bidanasi Ground, Cuttack): Bargarh 134/10 in 26.4 overs (Swarit Dash 39; Partha S Lenka 4/24, Prathamesh Tripathy 3/32) lost to Koraput 138/5 in 23 overs (Sansraya Saha 54; Mohammad Asfaq 3/41) by 5 wickets. PoM: Partha S Lenka.

Match 75 (Railway Stadium, Bhubaneswar): Angul 222/9 in 42 overs (Harsh Kumar 77; Jogeswar Bag 4/29, Sidheswar Bag 3/25) beat Balangir 203/10 in 38.4 overs (Sohan Sona 40; Soumya Singh 3/16, Harsh Kumar 3/27) by 19 runs. PoM: Harsh Kumar.
