Mumbai proved too good for Odisha when they registered an eight-wicket win in their Elite Group-B match of the BCCI Mens U-23 State A Trophy One-Day Tournament at Kotambi Stadium B Ground in Vadodara, Gujarat today. This was the second defeat in six matches for Odisha.

Put into bat, Odisha were bowled out for 197, a total which was comfortably overhauled by Mumbai, losing two wickets. However, playing a formidable side, Odisha batters Dinesh Majhi and Sujal Singh put up notable performances, scoring 60 and 40 runs respectively. Odisha will play their seventh match against Andhra at GSFC Cricket Ground in Vadodara on November 21.
