Odisha Paralympic champion Pramod Bhagat won one silver medal each in mens SL3 singles and SL3-SU5 mixed doubles events of the 5th Dubai Para Badminton International, which was held at Al Nasr Club in Dubai, UAE from 11 to 17 December 2023.

Bhagat settled for the sinlges silver medal after losing to his bogeyman Daniel Bethell of England in the final 17-21, 8-21. Earlier in the semifinals, the Odisha star prevailed over Daisuke Fujihara of Japan 21-11, 21-11. Bhagat qualified for the semifinals by winning two matches in Group-B league and the quarterfinal against Oleksandr Chyrkov of Ukraine.

Bhagat claimed the mixed doubles silver medal with Indian partner manisha Ramadass. Indonesian pair of Hikmat Ramdani and Leani Ratri Oktila captured the gold medal, defeating Bhagat and Ramadass in the final 21-14, 21-11.
