Odisha junior international Aahan added one more National level double crown to her list of achievements, winning both the girls singles and doubles titles in the AITA-OTA National Series U-14 Tennis Tournament, which concluded at Kalinga Stadium Tennis Complex in Bhubaneswar today.

Bhubaneswar girl Aahan emerged singles champion, defeating statemate Avipsha Dehury in the lop-sided final 6-0, 6-0. Aahan completed the double by winning the girls doubles title with Avipsha Dehury. The Odisha duo trounced Padmapriya Rameshkumar (Karnataka) and Parinitha Vattaparambil (Andhra Pradesh) in the summit clash 6-1, 6-1.

The six-day tournament was hosted by Odisha Tennis Association (OTA), under the aegis of All India Tennis Association. Asserting their supremacy, Odisha players won or shared three titles out of four.

Aahaan Mishra was the other title winner from Odisha. He emerged boys doubles champion with Tamil Nadu partner Ronnie Vijaykumar. In the final, Aahaan and Ronnie got walk-over against Swapneel Ghosh (Odisha) and Jay Gaikwad (Maharashtra).

Maharashtra boy Raghav Sarode denied Odisha a clean sweep of all four titles by emerging singles champion. He won the final match comfortably, outplaying Odisha opponent Sai Swastik Mohanty 6-1, 6-3.

OTA president and former Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy graced the closing ceremony as chief guest and handed over the trophies in the presence of joint-secretary Sanjeeb Panda.
