Odisha ace Swasti Singh won one gold and one bronze medal in the Khelo India Women Cycling League (Road Event, North Zone), which was held in Amritsar, Punjab on 16 and 17 September 2023.

Swasti won the bronze in 20km individual time trial with a time of 28:02.397 on September 16. She followed it with the gold in 40km mass start event, clocking 01:07:09.196 today.

A trainee of SAI Centre of Excellence, New Delhi, Swasti will next compete in the Khelo India Women Cycling League (Track Event, East Zone), which is set to be held at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand on September 20 and 21.

Rourkela cyclist Swasti was recently bestowed with the Biju Patnaik Sports Award for outstanding performance in sports and games by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar.
