  Hockey Pro League: India stun Olympic champs Belgium 5-1

India registered a stunning 5-1 victory over Olympic champions Belgium in their FIH Hockey Pro League FIH Hockey Pro League match at the Lee Valley Hockey Stadium in London today. With this win India avenged the 1-2 loss in their previous match against Belgium last week.

This was the sixth win in 11 matches for India, who now have 22 points in their kitty. Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored twice while Vivek Sagar Prasad, Amit Rohidas and Dilpreet Singh scored a goal each for India against Belgium today.

Drag-flick expert Harmanpreet, who became the all-time top goal scorer in the FIH Pro League in their previous match against Great Britain, increased his total to 37 with the brace today.

Defender Amit Rohidas, the lone Odisha player in the Indian team, not only created many scoring opportunities today, but also scored one goal with a reverse flick. India will next take on Great Britain tomorrow.
