Odisha woman swimmer Shristi Upadhaya, representing Jadavpur University (West Bengal) also continued to make waves in the pool, capturing two more gold medals today in 100m and 200m butterfly events today. This was the third gold medal for Shristi, who earlier won her first gold in 50m butterfly.

Odisha male swimmer Shubhrant Patra, representing Jain University, Karnataka, claimed one gold medal for his university in men 4x100m medley relay. This was the
third medal for Shubhrant, who earlier won one silver and one bronze medal in 200m butterfly and 4x100m freestyle relay respectively.

In women hockey, Sambalpur University, Odisha lost to Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Sports University beat 1-2 and in men hockey, Sambalpur University, Odisha drew with Purvanchal University 1–1. In women football, Sambalpur University, Odisha defeated VELS University, Tamil Nadu 3–1.
