Odisha player Lasyamayee Mohanta has been selected in the 12-member Indian team for the 14th Asian Womens U18 Volleyball Championship, scheduled to be held at Nakhon Pathom Sports Center Gymnasium in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand from 6 to 13 June 2022.
According to Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) Associate Joint-Secretary and Odisha Volleyball Association (OVA) General Secretary Dr Gaganendu Dash, the Indian team left for Nakhon Pathom today, accompanied by four officials.
Lotak Bindu Dash of Odisha has also been named in the Indian team as one of the two Assistant Coaches. The team was finalized after selection trials at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar on 20-21 April 2022 and the Coaching Camp at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar from 22 April 2022.
