A 20-member Odisha State squad, featuring 10 boys and 10 girls, left Cuttack to participate in the 39th Sub-junior National Archery Championship, which is set to be held at Raffles University in Neemrana, Alwar, Rajasthan from 14 to 23 April 2022.

The boys would compete in Indian, Recurve and Compound Rounds, while the girls would battle it out in Indian and Recurve Rounds. According to Odisha Archery Association Secretary Sampurnananda Das, the State squad was finalised after a month-long camp, held at Cuttack from March 12 to April 11. A Raju and Raj Kumar Naik imparted coaching at the camp.

Boys Indian Round: Sanjay Majhi, Bikram Majhi (both Kalahandi); Bahadur Marandi (KISS, Bhubaneswar), Trinath Munda (Keonjhar).
Girls Indian Round: Fulamani Hansda, Manjulata Hansda (both KISS); Zaina Islam (Cuttack), Madhusmita Munda (Kalahandi).
Boys Recurve Round: Suresh Wika, Bijay Madhi (both SAI-HAL, Sunabeda); Krushna Munda (Keonjhar), Keshab Banara (KISS).
Girls Recurve Round: Momita Oram, Pragya Dalai (both SAI, Sundargarh); Maneswari Hasdak (KISS), Ujjaini Keshri (Cuttack).
Boys Compound Round: Rahul Madkami, Ganguli Gudia, Sidhanta Khara (all Sports Hostel, Malkangiri); Bhaskar Khilo (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda).
