  Varsity Yogasana: KIIT, Recky win silver medals

Host KIIT University won two silver medals in the All-India Inter-University Yogasana (M&W) Championships 2021-22, which concluded at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, KIIT Campus-13, Bhubaneswar today. The two silver medals were bagged by KIIT in women team event and its student Recky Prava Ray in women individual event.

KIIT University also qualified for Khelo India University Games 2022. The All-India Inter-University Championship was organised under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) from 25 to 28 December 2021. Around 2000 yogasana athletes from 352 university Teams (173 men and 179 women) participated in the championship.

KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, 3.  University of Calcutta, Kolkata, 4.  RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, 5.  University of Calicut, Kerala, 6.  Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, 7.  Ranchi University, Ranchi, 8.  University of Patanjali, Haridwar.

WOMEN INDIVIDUAL: 1. Akanksha Kharade (Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune), 2.  Recky Prava Ray (KIIT University, Bhubaneswar), 3. Anshuka (Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, Haryana).

MEN INDIVIDUAL: 1. Pawale Nitin (Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune), 2. Abhishek (Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhawani, Haryana), 3.  Abhay Mishra (IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Punjab)
