A 20-member Odisha state squad left today to participate in the 29th Junior National Fencing Championship, scheduled to be held at Sonipat in Haryana from 25 to 28 2021. The squad, featuring 12 men and eight women fencers, was accompanied by two managers and two coaches.

But the list shared by Odisha State Fencing Association featured the names and other details of 22 fencers including 10 women. It was not clear, how many fencers actually went to Sonipat for the National championship.

GIRLS: Sneha Biju, Anwesha Hota, Basiliya Sara Sunil, Grigaria Ann Sunil, Snata Mohanty, Baishali Bibhar, Kura Sreeja, Barsha Priyadarshini Barik, Afshana Khatoon, Vuyyala Sarayu.
