Odisha girls Sohini Mohanty, Aahan and Aarna Raj cornered glory in AITA Juior Tennis Tournaments, held at different places in the country. Bhubaneswar girl Sohini won the doubles title and finished singles runner-up in the AITA U-14 Nationals Tournament in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Sohini of Farhan Ali Tennis Academy and her partner Rishitha Reddy (Telangana) won the doubles final, defeating Karnataka duo of Harshini Nagaraj and Snigdha Kanta 6-2, 6-7, 10-7 on December 24. In the singles final today, Sohini lost to Harshini Nagarat 6-3, 2-6, 1-6.
Aahan, from Bhubaneswar-based Ace Base Tennis Academy, bagged a double, winning both the U-14 singles and doubles titles in the AITA Super Series Tournament in Ahmedabad on 17 December 2021.
